We still have a conflict in the leaks as pertains to the number of cameras. Images shows two cameras and the flash in the housing, while the leaked Apex sheets suggest there are three cameras on the rear. Those rear cameras are suggested as 48-megapixel main, 16-megapixel ultra-wide and 12-megapixel telephoto, f/1.7, f/2.2 and f/2.4 respectively. However, we are still very unsure about the configuration, but again, OnePlus will surely control the price of this device.
SAMSUNG GALAXY Z FLIP 2
Rumormongers have it that there’s an update to Galaxy Z Flip, we might see a 5G version. There is also a plan to add a third camera to this folding phone, which might appear on the Flip 2. The phone may not launch until sometime in 2021, but it is something to anticipate.
XIAOMI FLIP PHONE
Overtime, Xiaomi has produced a good number of folding prototypes but now, it’s seems like the company is looking to get components from Samsung latest Display. Xiaomi is very much interested in showing off a folding phone similar to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. This would potentially create a more affordable entry-point to folding phones and add variety to the growing market.
APPLE IPHONE 12
Yearly, people look forward to a fresh version of iPhone. It is one of the biggest events in tech due to its peculiarity. One that sets trends and seemingly everyone wants to have. Getting information about new Apple devices is quite rare. They hardly leak comprehensive information like other phones.
Records have it that Apple usually holds its iPhone event in the second week of September. The company followed the same pattern in 2019.
If they follow same routine, we should expect the 2020 iPhone on September 8, 2020. Although, the spread of coronavirus and the effect it could have on new technology launches plays a huge role in the visibility of the date, we should expect something from Apple. Generally, because of travel restrictions, it is quite clear how the current global situation will affect things.
Nokia never really set sail. Release was limited, testing by the media was limited and it silently got into the background. But, rumor has it that Nokia is preparing to return with a new Nokia 9 flagship phone.
Nokia 9.3 could launch in the second half of 2020. Seemingly, September is a reasonable timeframe for the launch.
Though details are slim on the design of Nokia 9.3, but here is something to look forward to:
- Waterfall display
- Punch hole camera
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+5G
With Nokia already making advancements towards 5G, we expect the 2020 version to be 5G.
• Conventional camera system with OIS.
• 64 or 108MP for the main camera
We suspect that Nokia is looking out for companies like Huawei, and are like going to follow their path.
